Starowieyski who died last month was one of the world’s
great surealist figurative Polish artists.

poland was famous for its poster school. we have this bizarre CYRK poster with horse heads with plumes on them that we got from our friend’s uncle’s basement. we used to have it nailed up in our garage until we googled “CYRK” and found out that it’s worth a couple hundred dollars. now my grandma has it hanging in her house. http://www.contemporaryposters.com/ scroll down to see all the circus (CYRK) posters, they’re amazing!
